microneedling: What is it?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive technique that creates thousands of epidermal microcanals that allow substances to pass through the horny layer of the skin, while simultaneously producing dermoepidermal biostimulation, incrementing the activity of the drug substances.

Pretreatment recommendation
We recommend applying a topical anaesthetic on the area to be treated between 30 and 60 minutes before the session.
01/ CLEANSE
Remove make-up from the eyes and lips using micellar biphasic. Cleanse the skin with hydramilk cleanser, tone with hydratonic and, subsequently, disinfect the area.
02/ APPLY THE PRODUCT AND THE MICRONEEDLING TECHNIQUE
Dose the c.prof or x.prof solution on a defined and localised area, simultaneously applying the microneedling technique with m.pen[pro] and adjusting the device's depth.
03/ SOOTHE AND REPAIR
After completing the session, apply post-peel crystal fiber mask to soothe and repair the skin.
04/ PROTECT
Finish the treatment by applying moisturising sun protection SPF 50+ (moisturising sunscreen) to protect the skin against the harmful effects of UV radiation.

Depending on the area to be treated and the aim of the sessions, we may undergo a weekly or fortnightly session, always at the professional's discretion. The sessions take between 30 and 60 minutes, and patients can return immediately to their normal routine.

Downtime
The degree of downtime will vary depending on the length of needle used

1.5mm – 2.5mm :
- Downtime will be increased
- For either wrinkle or scar treatments, there may be minor swelling and directly after treatment the skin will look red in the places that were needled. Swelling will last up to 48hrs
- Fine lines and wrinkles may look like red raised lines.
- Scars will be red and a light scab will form on the treated areas.
- Redness will last for up to 4 days and then slowly fade.
- Feels tight and sensitive like moderate sunburn.
